Description: The window’s theme is Christ as the rising sun. Radiating from the sun are beams that form a cross, with a central motif of a cross and the Christogram “IHS.” Beneath the sun lies the veil of St Veronica, bearing the imprint of Jesus’ crown of thorns within its folds. Droplets of blood fall from the veil, symbolising Christ’s path to crucifixion. Above the sun, the image of a dove represents the Holy Spirit.
