The client requested a modern, figurative design which would illustrate the changing nature of the Wirral in the 20th century. Detailed glass painting and handmade glass bring each scene to life, including St. John's Church and the locality, the river Mersey, the oil refinery at Ellesmere Port and a horse and cart representing the agricultural heritage.
