"The Light of the World"

This highly decorative window depicts the 'I am' sayings of Jesus. The donor wished to see the inspirational Pre-Raphaelite painting, 'The Light of the World' recreated in stained glass, and this forms the centerpiece.

The window is executed in richly coloured handmade glass and employs bold glass painting. The aim was inspire reflection and contemplation, combining contemporary handling with one of the most famous Victorian religious images.
