'God the Son'

Each light 650mm wide x 2135mm

The figure of Jesus Christ is shown as the Prince of Peace, holding a scepter, the ornamental rod symbolizing Royal power, wearing a crown and garments of ruby and gold.

His right hand is out stretched in a gesture of peace, perhaps reminding us of calming the tempest.

He is shown returning in a bright burst of light, heralding what is to come, with a vision of heaven, "In my father's house are many mansions"

The theme is overcoming the evil of war.

At the bottom left are symbols of the end of war, broken swords and flames, above are poppies and small crosses upon green fields, symbols of remembrance of those who have fallen.

At the top of the window are impressions of flames, explosions, barb wire, trenches, reminding of the great difficulties men have suffered and sadly for their families are still suffering today.
