"The True Cross"

This dramatic window was commissioned to bring light and colour into the distinctive 1970's church. A bold, uncluttered design based on the crucifix was chosen, relying on carefully selected colour and strong lead lines for its impact.

Many different types of glass, including handmade 'reamies' and 'streakies', with varied textures were used to create the glittering 'wall' of light. In the sunlight spectacular washes of colour spread across the interior enhancing the space yet retaining its simplicity and beauty.
